| "'Gunrunner’ is a well written drama with heart. There are countless exciting set pieces set against a backdrop of political turmoil and civil war in Africa. There is a colorful cast of characters that are all richly drawn. These are multi-layered leads and they all feel flawed and totally realistic (if not lovable at all times). The dialogue is handled well, the characters all given unique voices and there’s some solid subtext at play as well. The writer has obviously done all of the necessary research here and things feel truly authentic. It is because of all of the positive elements discussed above that the reader gives both writer and script a consider for this draft. This is an accomplishment the writer should be truly proud of."
